Who that isn’t retirement age still has a clock radio?
I’m far from retirement age, and I’ve got a clock radio. This is actually a good idea, considering I just moved two time zones away from my regular home.
Yeah, well I had to get a clock radio when the neighbors starting complaining about the rooster.
You should have kept the rooster and taped a transistor radio to him. Then you’d have your own Cock Radio.
Apparently, that was a Cock-a-doodle-DON’T!
Hopelessly geeky yes, but retired no.
I wake to NPR every workday; it’s interesting what facts creeps into my brain in the 15 min. before the loud, obnoxious 2nd clock actually gets me out of bed. BTW – clock radios now come with docking stations for your i-pod so you can go to sleep to your music as well.
How could you possibly wake up to NPR? It has the opposite effect on me.
Maybe I should have written HOPELESSLY GEEKY; I actually find many of the news stories/books covered of interest. However, do note the mention of the 2nd, loud clock for serious waking. :)
I still have one! I… don’t use it, but I have one. And that’s what matters.
Ironically Todd later missed a week of work until his infected typing fingers healed.
After two groggy mornings, he was waking up exactly a minute before the alarm went off every day.
You’re already late! Go back to bed.
He’s 40 now, but I could have SO seen this for my brother when he was in high school.
This is actually awesome. I use my phone as my alarm though so I don’t think sticking drawing pins to it would be a good idea.
I walk across the room to hit snooze about 5 times. I have to set the alarm early so I can do that. :)
