You may blame the school system, but I blame the rains down in Africa.
Students today just need to take some time for all the things they never had.
Denmark Knows BBQ!!!
I would have left it blank too… because Africa is no fucking country, is a continent. The teacher loses.
Or they took the photo before finishing it to try and be funny.
or Africa isn’t a country…it’s a continent.
Today’s youth are just incontinent. I guess. Depends.
So, we (Woody) blame the current president because a student missed one question on a quiz created by a teacher that apparently doesn’t know that Australia and Africa are continents, not countries? There’s a much deeper problem here……..
Uh, Australia is both a continent AND a country, actually.
Wrong. Australia isn’t a continent. Australasia is a continent which includes Australia and New Zealand and various other countries.
No, you’re wrong. A continent is a continuous expanse of land, such as Australia. Australasia is a region.
IN MY PANTS.
Australia is both a country AND a continent.
And a beer.
WTF, that map of Italy is actually including Switzerland!
I hope it’s not anything meant to teach geography…
As an Aussie I thought I would clear up any questions readers may have..
1. Australia IS a country
2. Australia IS a continent
3. The area of the world where it is, can either be called Oceania or Australasia depending on the combination of country islands that are being discussed.
4. The picture depicting Australia is incorrect – the island of Tasmania is not included and therefore the map is incomplete.
Thanks to the other commenters – maybe the truth about Australia will start to come together.
