I realize this isn’t structural, but it really would give me pause if I looked out the window and saw duct tape.

It’s aluminum tape. It is quite strong and used on prop planes all the time. This though is scary.
Yes but duct tape is much funnier. Especially when you can see the huge crack underneath.
