Is this supposed to be a joke? Chicago is PART of Illinois, so saying Illinois and Chicago makes you sound like a complete dumb ass. That’s probably not the point you’re trying to make.

I saw this on FB the other day, only it said Indiana not WI. I had the same thought about the Chicago thing too, but then remembered it was Indiana…
I don’t understand what the spinach on the sign is supposed to represent.
If this was a true pro-gun sign, it would be written with bullet points.
Clearly photoshopped. I’ve seen several welcome to Wisconsin signs, as I live in Illinois (land of no guns, supposedly), and this is just mental. There may be some wackadoodles running around in the Wisconsin government, but not this level of wackadoodle. Not even Michigan is this mental.
Also, I’ve seen about 3 versions of this sign on FB, all having somewhat different text.
So, yeah, it’s a joke. And a pretty stupid one, too, considering how many people got shot last year in Chicago (295). http://www.chicagonow.com/listing-toward-forty/2012/08/list-7-chicago-shooting-victims/
I’m from Chicago and live in Wisconsin. I frequently drive back and forth between the two and have never seen this sign. I DO think it is a photoshop of this sign, however http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:USRoute10WelcomeToWisconsin.jpg
I haven’t seen these in Wisconsin, but I have seen several seemingly government made reflective road signs that say “Think! It’s not legal yet.” I’m confused by this, do they mean thinking is not legal…. yet? Can anyone explain?
